Your garden plans and the garden data you create are yours. We collect only what the product needs to turn a plan into a living garden and to help you care for it.
What we collect and why

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that run part of the service for us:
- Supabase — sign-in and file storage.
- OpenAI (directly or through Microsoft Azure) — reading garden plans and photos, and generating garden impressions.
- Pl@ntNet — identifying plants from the photos you submit for identification.
- LangWatch — monitoring the quality of those AI steps.
- Google Play, the Apple App Store, RevenueCat and Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
The website www.greenfingerpaint.com uses Google Analytics only when you allow it in the cookie banner. The app does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep data
We keep your account and garden data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account we delete your sign-in identity, your name and email address, every garden you own with its plans, photos and generated images, and the photos you submitted for identification.
Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, linked only to an anonymous account number. Projects you added to a garden owned by someone else stay with that garden without your name. The details are on the account deletion page.
Deleting your account
Delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account… in the app, or at app.greenfingerpaint.com/settings without reinstalling the app. See how account deletion works.
Your rights
You can view and correct your garden data in the app at any time, and delete it by deleting a garden or your whole account. Under the GDPR you may also ask us for a copy of your data, object to processing, or complain to your data-protection authority (in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
